The Department of International Business issues recommendation letters supporting students’ applications for scholarships and studies abroad.

Please hand in your request for a recommendation letter at least four weeks prior to your submission deadline. Late requests cannot be considered.

Please provide us with:

• a statement of motivation

• your CV, including extracurricular activities (e.g. internships, language abilities, volunteer work, etc.)

• your current account of marks

• all required forms (with as much information already filled in as possible)

Furthermore, in order to tailor the recommendation letter to your needs, we need the following information which you should provide in detail in your request:

• When is your recommendation letter due?

• Who is the recipient of the recommendation letter? Please include the full postal or e-mail address as required.

• Who will send the letter (the Department of International Business or you as the student)?

• Which forms are required?

• Do you need the recommendation letter in English or in German?

For Recommendations for the "Dezernat für Internationale Beziehungen" please hand in the following information:

• Where do you know Professor Pudelko/ the DoIB from (e.g. lectures, interview for admission to your Bachelor program)?

• CV in English

• current account of marks

• please specify your desired destination and the reasons for why you wish to study at this location (2-3 sentences)
