Dr. Aenne Brielmann
Aenne Brielmann ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Hector-Institut für Empirische Bildungsforschung. Brielmanns Forschung geht der übergeordneten Frage nach, warum Menschen sensorische Erfahrungen wertschätzen und wie solche Erfahrung als Konsequenz ihr Verhalten beeinflussen. Zum Beispiel: Wieso wenden wir Zeit und Mühe auf, um uns einen Strand, ein Konzert oder einen Film anzusehen? In den letzten Jahren hat Brielmann ein mathematisches Modell entwickelt, das vorhersagen kann, welchen Wert ein Mensch einem Bild zuordnet und wie sich diese Beurteilung über eine gegebene Zeitspanne entwickelt. Dieses Modell hat auch Implikationen für unser Verständnis von Langeweile (als relativ gesehen geringer oder sich verringernder Wert) und von Neugier im Bereich der sensorischen Wahrnehmung. Im Kontext ihrer Arbeit am Institut und im LEAD Graduate School & Research Network möchte Aenne Brielmann diese Einsichten nutzen, um intrinsische Motivation, Langeweile und Neugier im Bildungskontext besser zu verstehen.
