Friederike is a Physicist who focused on open many-body quantum systems in her undergraduate studies and did her Master thesis on Thermophoresis under the supervision of Erik Schäffer at the ZMBP. She has now joined the BM2 Lab of Dr. Gabriella Mosca as a PhD student and will focus on computational simulations of morphogenesis and biomechanics in plant cells. In her free time, Friederike enjoys dancing and outdoor activities. 

This could be you, if you like a mix of those things: physics, mathematical modeling, computer programming and of course how all this can be used to understand biological problems (but you do not need prior knowledge in biology).
