Dr. Donnet Rose Adhiambo Odhiambo is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and a Lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya, Department of Liberal Development and International Studies. She is an interdisciplinary scholar whose work bridges law, political science, and regional integration studies, with a particular focus on African governance institutions.
She holds a Ph.D. in Social Science from the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Humboldt University Berlin, a Master of Arts in Regional Integration, a Post‑Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
Dr. Odhiambo’s research interests span regional integration in Africa, international parliamentary institutions, and the evolving role of African regional parliaments, including the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), the ECOWAS Parliament, and the Pan‑African Parliament. Her work also examines women’s representation in parliaments, democracy and elections, good governance, and EU–Africa relations, with a growing focus on how these themes intersect with contemporary polycrisis dynamics.
Her scholarship contributes to strengthening African perspectives within global debates on governance, representation, and institutional development.
