Resource Management for Cooperative Awareness Messages in Vehicular Adhoc Networks (REMCAM)
In vehicular adhoc networks (VANETs), vehicels exchange cooperative awareness messages (CAMs) to disseminate information about their state and warnings. When this technology is deployed in the future, series vehicles will need to process a large rate of CAMs. In this project we forecast potential traffic load and develop methods to cope with that situation. The context of this work is a supervised doctoral thesis project carried out at Mercedes-Benz in Sindelfingen (2012-2017).
