My research focuses on the robustness and reliability of machine learning (ML). These properties are vital for the prosperity of ML in practical applications. I work towards models that are both robust against adversarial perturbations on the in-distribution and that can also detect when they are confronted with out-distribution data. I received a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Stuttgart and a M.Sc. in Machine Learning from the University of Tübingen.
