At the Institute for General Practice and Interprofessional Care of the University medical Hospital and Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tübingen Heidrun Sturm is responsible for research and project development related to innovative care structures and healthcare systems. As physician and healthcare researcher by training she worked in comparative healthcare services research in the US, the Netherlands and Germany.  As consulter and scientist she worked on numerous projects related healthcare (policy) trends, markets and development of innovative care structures. Her research and work focusses on (comparative) healthcare systems, innovative care structures, quality of care and evaluation of care structures.

Roland Koch is a GP by training. Having studied in Germany, he later trained as a GP in Gotland (Sweden). He returned to Germany in 2017 as head of teaching and later deputy head of the department of General Practice and Interprofessional Care at Tübingen University hospital. He considers himself a European GP with a keen eye for over-arching structures. His main scientific interest is in medical education research, patient-physician interaction and qualitative research methods.y) disintegrated by processes of institutional abandonment and the penetration of drug-dealing.

Christine Preiser is a sociologist by training who has been working in the field of occupational health and health services research since 2011. Her research focus are mental health, professional self-conceptions, digitalisation in health care and qualitative research methods.

Pedro Gomes is a medical doctor, graduated from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is superintendent of the Luiza Mahin Institute, an NGO of black doctors in his country. He has dedicated himself to research and activism around racism and race relations, as well as policies to reduce inequities in health.

Fabiano Borges is oral surgeon by training, and public health professional dedicated to the healthcare right since 2003. Currently, he is faculty at the Collective Health Institute of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), whose work comprises teaching collective health in medicine, university extension with primary care workers and its communities, and research based on qualitative health sociology.
