I use oxygen stable isotopes (δ¹⁸O) to study belowground niche partitioning through plant water uptake dynamics in grassland ecosystems. By integrating these measurements with long-term vegetation data and root functional traits, I aim to identify the key drivers of population stability over time.
Overall, I am interested in bridging multidisciplinary approaches in ecohydrology and trait-based ecology to better understand the mechanisms that sustain biodiversity and ecosystem functioning under changing environmental conditions.
