The research activities of our group focus on quantum many-body effects in material systems, cold atomic gases and nanostructures, and ranges from model-like studies of spectral and transport properties to the physics of more complex systems. To investigate the fundamental mechanisms underlying their physical behavior we develop and apply novel many-body techniques as renormalization group methods.
Candidates should be highly motivated and interested in quantum many-body physics. We aim at providing a solid scientific training in a stimulating environment.
