Re-Thinking Benchmark Dates in IR
am Mittwoch, den 04.07.2012 um 14.15 h im IfP, Raum 124.
As most of you will know, next week’s speaker in the departmental seminar will be Barry Buzan who will give a talk on the rethinking of benchmark dates in International Relations. Barry Buzan is one of the leading International Relations scholars of our time and has made significant contributions to a reinterpretation of structural realism, the development of the Copenhagen School, and the reconvention of the English School – among others!
He is the former (now retired) Montague Burton Professor of International Relations at the LSE, former editor of the European Journal of International Relations, former Chair of the British International Studies Association, former fellow of the British Academy and an elected member of the Association of Learned Societies in the Social Sciences. You may also know him as the co-author (together with his brother Tony Buzan) of the Mind Map Book!
Seats are limited, so you may want to come earlier than usual.
