Maristella Lunardon ist Postdoktorandin und Stipendiatin des Teach@Tübingen-Programms. Sie promovierte 2024 in Kognitiver Neurowissenschaft an der International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Triest, Italien.

Ihr Forschungsfokus liegt auf individuellen Unterschieden in der numerischen Leistungsfähigkeit. Dabei verwendet sie eine Kombination aus kognitiven Tests, Selbstberichtsfragebögen und physiologischen Messungen wie Hautleitfähigkeit, Herzfrequenzvariabilität und Speichelkortisolkonzentration.

Darüber hinaus gehören zu ihren akademischen Interessen die numerische Entwicklung sowie Interventionen für Kinder mit typischer und atypischer Entwicklung.

Maristella Lunardon ist zudem eine in Italien lizenzierte Psychologin.
