The Geoinformatics Group of the Institute of Geography (University of Tübingen) is researching on and with spatial data (geodata). The foci of work and research are:

  • The urban space - remote sensing, GIS analyses and sustainability
  • Monitoring of glaciers with SAR images
  • Geodatabase customization
  • Teaching of B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses and lectures in GIS and remote sensing
  • Postgraduate professional training: Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) 'Geodatenmanager'
