Cooperations

A trusting dialog and successful cooperation with actors and institutions from academia, government, administration, and civil society are key concerns of the Institute. To this end, the Institute continuously establishes and expands local, national, and international collaborations, working within existing networks.

Of particular importance for our collaborations are our two main partners: the Dokumentationsstelle Rechtsextremismus (DokRex) at the General State Archives in Karlsruhe and the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft offene Kinder- und Jugendbildung Baden-Württemberg (LAGO). In addition, we work with a wide range of partners. Currently, these include, for example: the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Baden-Württemberg (LpB), Gedenkstättenverbund Gäu-Neckar-Alb, Hochschule für Polizei Baden-Württemberg, among many others.

IRex is already a member of the Verbund der Forschungszentren für Rechtsextremismus- und Demokratieforschung (VFRD), the Landesnetzwerk für Menschenrechte und Demokratieentwicklung – gegen Rechtsextremismus und Menschenfeindlichkeit and the Kompetenzzentrum gegen Extremismus in Baden-Württemberg (Konex) at the State Criminal Police Office. We also collaborate with the Wissensnetzwerk Rechtsextremismusforschung (Wi-REX) funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), as well as the Motra (Monitoringsystem und Transferplattform Radikalisierung) coordinated by the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA).
