The Unit of Molecular Biology is one of the four research units of the Interfaculty Institute of Cell Biology (IFIZ).
The Unit is headed by Prof. Dr. Alfred Nordheim. PubMed, Wikipedia, CV
Scientists of the Unit engage in both research and teaching in the field of molecular cell biology.
The research activities of the Unit are pursued within two Independent Research Groups:
- Nordheim laboratory ("Vertebrate Gene Expression and Organ Function"),
- Proikas-Cezanne laboratory ("Autophagy"), PubMed
