The 4th IRT Consortium Meeting will take place in Tübingen on May 20-21.

By plane: 

• The nearest airport is Stuttgart (STR). Flying to smaller airports nearby is not recommended as they are quite remote. Flying to Frankfurt (FRA) and taking the train takes at least 2h30 longer.
• From the airport there is a bus to Tübingen (1 h).
• We can arrange a shuttle bus from the airport to Tübingen in case you are more than one person (30 minute ride) at the same time. Please let us know your arrival times in the registration form or later by e-mail to coordinate transportation.

By train: 

• From Paris Est there is a convenient train to Stuttgart, and then a slower train to Tübingen (4:30 h in total in the best case).

The meeting will be held at Innovationszentrum Westspitze (Eisenbahnstr. 1, 72072 Tübingen) on the 6th floor. From your hotel to the venue you can either walk or take a bus. The bus system in Tübingen is very effective, you can pay at the ticket machines inside each bus. The closest bus stop is “Landestheater”. Bus lines 13, 1, 4, and 34 go there from the hub at the main station. But it is only a 800m walk from the main station or from the Neckarbrücke as well.

We have organised a relaxed tour in a classic punt boat on the Neckar river at 6 pm on Tuesday for those who are interested. Meeting point is at Stocherkahn-Anlegestelle Casino, Wöhrdstr. 25, just 250 m from the meeting venue. The duration is 1 hour.

The joint dinner will be at the restaurant 1821 Tübingen at 8 pm on Tuesday. It is located at Wilhelmstr. 3, in walking distance from almost everywhere in Tübingen.
