Text and Idea of Aristotle's Science of Living Things (TIDA)

Justin Vlasits is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Illinois Chicago. Previously he was Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in ancient philosophy at Tübingen. His research focuses on ancient logic and epistemology, as well as Aristotle’s lost works.

He will be visiting TIDA for the Academic Year 2023-4 and working especially on the relationship between Aristotle’s Posterior Analytics and the methodology of the De Anima, as well as the fragments of Aristotle’s lost dialogue Eudemus, or On the Soul.
