Dr. Yi-tsui Tseng received her PhD in International Studies from the University of Denver in 2015. Her research has focused on the ideational construct in international politics, with topics ranging from the intellectual struggles of Japanese modernity to the modernization motif in the environmental political economy of China and India. Her ongoing project adopts a discursive approach to examining the co-evolution of the conception of natural constraints, state institutions, and the diffusion of the idea of sustainable development in these two nations.
