Cecilia Bruzelius

Professor of Comparative Social Policy and Migration

Biography

Cecilia Bruzelius studied political science and economics at Uppsala University (BA 2011), comparative politics at the London School of Economics a Political Science (MSc 2012) and University of Oxford (DPhil 2018). Her dissertation examined local and national governance of free movement and EU citizens’ cross-border social rights. From 2017-2023 she worked at the Institute for Political Science, University of Tübingen, 2023-2024 she was tenure track assistant professor in political science at the University of Copenhagen. Since October 2024, she holds the chair for Comparative Social Policy and Migration at University of Tübingen.
