Public evening lecture on institutional anti-Semitism

on 4 November from 7 pm to 9 pm with Prof. Dr Friederike Lorenz-Sinai at Dresden University of Technology

How is antisemitism perpetuated and experienced within institutions?
Prof. Dr Friederike Lorenz-Sinai, Professor of Social Science Research on Antisemitism at the Institute for Research on Right-Wing Extremism (IRex) at the University of Tübingen, will address this question in a public evening lecture at TU Dresden.

The lecture will take place on 4 November 2026 from 7 pm to 9 pm as part of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation’s Action Weeks against Anti-Semitism. It combines historical continuities with empirical insights into Jewish communities before and after 7 October 2023. It will address experiences of exclusion, discrimination and violence, as well as the question of what responsibilities this entails for a democratic society.

The event is part of the workshop ‘Jewish Life in Germany’. A kosher buffet will be served afterwards.
