Workshop: Church Membership Surveys and Practical Theology

This year, there are publications on the 6th Church Membership Survey Time to think about the development of these surveys and the understanding of Practical Theology 13 to 15 November 2025

Over the last 50 years, the Church Membership Surveys in Germany left their marks on concepts, methodological access and discourses in Practical Theology. The  workshop seeks to investigate the surveys' historical influence and poses foundational questions in terms of reflective self-understanding of Practical Theology.

You can find an outline in German to download if you're interested in.
