My main research interest is in plant ecology and the ecological and evolutionary mechanisms underlying metal hyperaccumulation in plants. 

My PhD research, conducted within the Hyperspace project, explores why metal hyperaccumulation has evolved and how environmental stresses such as drought, herbivory, and competition influence this trait.
