  • Cristina joined the group in October 2025 with an Erasmus scholarship and will be part of the group until May 2026.

  • She graduated in industrial chemistry with a focus on polymers at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy.

  • Her research experience began during her Bachelor's studies at Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) in Rome and continued during her Master's at INCDTIM, a public research institute in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. After earning her Master's degree, she worked as a chemist at RAIT88, a private company based in Rome.

  • Her thesis projects focused on the development of a biocompatible drug delivery system and the green production of biochar for water purification..
