Professor Gauglitz hält Vorlesungen und Seminare zur Analytischen Chemie und koordiniert die dazugehörigen Module im Hauptstudium für Chemiker; zusätzlich liest er deren Vorlesung Reaktionskinetik.
Er leitet die physikalisch-chemischen Praktika für Chemiker (Anfängerpraktikum PC), Pharmazeuten, Geowissenschaftler und Bioinformatiker, sowie die dazugehörigen Begleitseminare. Veranstaltungen, Hinweise und Termine finden Sie auf dem Lehre-Portal des Instituts für Physikalische und Theoretische Chemie. Studenten der jeweiligen Praktika haben über die Praktikumsdatenbank Zugang auf ihren aktuellen Praktikumsverlauf.

Durch den gezielten Einsatz multimedialer Elemente werden die Lehrinhalte anschaulich aufbereitet und vermittelt. Interaktive Animationen, Java-Applets, Simulationen und Videosequenzen zu verschiedenen Experimenten bieten den Studierenden darüber hinaus die Möglichkeit, sich intensiv auf Vorlesung und Praktikum vorzubereiten bzw. eine Lernkontrolle durchzuführen.
