Annika Mamat

Annika Franziska Mamat is a research assistant at the Research Centre for Science Communication (RCS) at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. As part of the ‘Online Presentation’ project, she helps university members to improve their skills in this area within the framework of seminars.

With a background in communication science, she is interested in how communication affects its addressees. In connection with her interdisciplinary doctorate in the field of relationship management through storytelling in online presentations, based in the Seminar for General Rhetoric, she also takes a close look at the communicator/orator's side of presentations to scientific audiences. The aim is to provide the presenter with options for designing online presentations that work in the interests of the audience and are useful for establishing a positive relationship between the parties involved. This is designed to improve the quality of online presentations.
