Interfaculty Research Institute for Sports and Physical Activity

Goals

The Interfaculty Research Institute for Sports and Physical Activity is the central forum for sport- and movement-related research at the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen. It bundles structures of sports and activity research at different university institutions.

Core facilities are the Institute of Sports Science of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences and the Department of Sports Medicine of the Medical Faculty. By bundling their capacities, a powerful and internationally visible research and service profile is created.

The Interfaculty Research Institute for Sports and Physical Activity is primarily dedicated to research of the following key topics:
