- This is no open-stack (Freihand) library, i.e. most books are stored in closed stacks.
- Registered students at the University of Tübingen and other scholars may keep library materials for 4 weeks.
- Books on hold for coursework (Semesterapparat) can only be charged out on Friday after10 am and must be returned no later than Monday, 12 am
- Journals cannot be charged out.
