Relevant expertise (Marco Pinfari):
regional and inter-regional conflict resolution in the Mediterranean, especially in Arab Africa (Pinfari 2009; 2010; 2012a; 2012b); comparative analysis of peace negotiations (Pinfari 2011b; 2013) with specific focus on the Israeli - Palestinian conflict (Pinfari 2005). He worked for a number of collaborative projects, including EU - GRASP (Pinfari 2011a), and currently coordinates a partnership between the London School of Economics and Cairo University.

Union pour la Méditerranée: l’Égypte de nouveau au centre (2009); The League of Arab States: Dynamics of Reform and the Resilience of Authoritarianism (forthcoming). She is the recipient of several grants from Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and Ford Foundation (2009 - 2011) for the analysis of state - society relations in the Arab World; she is recipient of Volkswagen Foundation grant along with colleagues from Tuebingen University and Mohamed V University (April 2012 - April 2014) for comparative analysis of Arab Youth political and social engagement. She is member of the board of directors of an independent think tank, Partner s in Development.
