Main research interests and activities:
I love nature, and I’m often amazed by how it functions so coherently and mystically. To explore my love, I use stable isotopes to trace carbon allocation in plant-soil systems (grassland). I’m mainly interested in how intercellular carbon storage compounds response under different soil conditions. I also have a field where I go regularly to investigate the storage compounds dynamics. It’s necessary to also do my method development with GC-MS and GC-IRMS in order to measure the storage compounds and their carbon isotopic ratios. On top of my main area, I also have a small adventure to the molecular world on PHB. It is really fun! In my free time, I like going into the nature, reading, playing music, and spending time with my friends.
