Mr. Henderson currently is pursuing his PhD at the National Cheng Chi University (NCCU) in Taipei, Taiwan, where he focuses on topics in political economy in the Asia Pacific region, specifically related to international economic development through local government policy.
Before beginning his PhD studies, he served for several years as an International Relations Specialist for the International Relations Office at the City of San Antonio in Texas. In his role he was responsible for assisting the Chief of Protocol in hosting official foreign delegations through event planning, logistical support and official correspondence. His responsibilities also involved interfacing with local organizations to coordinate & provide support for international initiatives within San Antonio, especially having to do with San Antonio's sister city relationships.
