Jean Yu-Chen Tseng obtained doctoral degree from the institute of East Asia Studies at National Chengchi University, with specific focuses on International relations and comparative politics. In particular, she is concerned with the possible political impli-cation brought by the economic and social integrations between the two countries. For example, her current research project aims to explore the extent to which trade and economic exchanges between the two hostile countries can bring in peace and further social and political interactions between the two. She is currently an adjunct assistant professor in Fo-Guang and Shi-Hsin University in Taiwan.
