are free to choose from the English-language classes (in the form of lectures, exercises, introductory seminars, seminars, advanced seminars) offered by the following disciplines:

• American Studies
• English Studies
• German Studies
• General Linguistics
• Computer Linguistics
• Education Science
• Historical and Cultural Anthropology
• Social and Cultural Anthropology
• Classical Archaeology
• Korean Studies
• Oriental and Islamic Studies
• Sociology

and may have them credited to their respective degree course.

• The student has to consult his respective faculty / degree course advisor and the latter has to agree upon the student's choice of class. Further down you will find a list of the degree course advisors and faculty course advisors. Click on Contacts / Guidance to go there directly.
• You may participate in a class provided that there are free places. You can find out if it is possible to participate by enrolling for the class via the Campus-system or directly with the lecturer. To enter the Campus-system click on Available Classes.
• The student must fulfill the prerequisites of the class he wishes to attend. You will find information on the prerequisites of a class in the Campus-system, if you click on the class of your choice. In any case, contact the lecturer who teaches the class to clarify if you fulfill the prerequisites for participation. When you contact him, indicate that you are a student participating in the cooperation „English Teaching in the Humanities, Cultural Studies and Social Sciences“.
• The maximum amount of credits which can be imported is defined in the module handbook of each master degree course. Here is a list of the relevant module handbooks:

• The amount of ECTS-credits per class is defined in the module handbook of the discipline which offers the class and cannot be bargained. Special arrangements concerning the transfer of credits must be consulted with the degree/faculty course advisor of the degree course the student is enrolled in. Your lecturer can tell you how many ECTS-credits you will acquire for the attendance of a determined class.
