Constantinos Adamides is a <link http: www.unic.ac.cy schools-programmes school-of-humanities-social-sciences-and-law department-of-european-studies-and-international-relations faculty constantinos-adamides external-link-new-window external link in new>Lecturer in the Department of European Studies and International Relations and Director of the <link http: da.unic.ac.cy external-link-new-window external link in new>Diplomatic Academy at the University of Nicosia. He has also served as a member of the Geostrategic Council of the Republic of Cyprus.

Ahmet Sözen is Professor of International Relations and Vice-Rector of the <link http: ir.emu.edu.tr external-link-new-window external link in new>Eastern Mediterranean University (Famagusta). He has a twenty-year experience in peace building and democratization processes, which has involved peace negotiations on multiple tracks.

Both speakers will talk about their involvement in efforts to solve the Cyprus conflict, and discuss prospects for resolution at a critical juncture in history.
