Noe Cornago is <link http: www.ehu.es p200-content es contenidos informacion es_00111_pa>Associate Professor of International Relations at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) in Bilbao. He has been a visiting lecturer at the Mershon Center of Public Affairs and Government, Ohio State University; the Institut Quebecois des Hautes Etudes Internationales, Université Laval, Quebec; the Institute of Political Studies/Institut d´Etudes Politiques, IEP Bordeaux; the Martin Institute of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, University of Idaho; as well as the Free University of Colombia. He is presently spending a sabbatical at St Antony’s College, the University of Oxford. His research interests cover the fields of diplomacy, sub-national diplomacy, multilateralism, trans-national advocacy and NGOs, development, decentralized international cooperation and foreign policy in federal systems. His early work was on the diplomacy of subnational units, and he has more recently contributed to the debate about the changing nature of diplomacy.

Among his publications are articles in Regional & Federal Studies, The Hague Journal of Diplomacy, Revista española de derecho internacional, and numerous articles in edited volumes, among them the entry on Diplomacy and Revolution in the ISA’s International Studies Compendium.
He is also a member of the Steering Committee of the <link http: www.sgir.eu>ECPR-Standing Group on International Relations.
