Rachael is currently pursuing her D.Phil in Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford. Prior to her tertiary studies, she served as an administrator and outreach officer at an arts organisation in Singapore, which included collaborations with Taiwanese counterparts. Her interests are at the intersection of political and cultural geography, including decolonial studies, the geographies of cultural diplomacy, and the politics of performance.
