The Faculté des Sciences et Technologies de l'Education et de la Formation (FASTEF) is one of the six Faculties of the Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (UCAD). The UCAD is the first institution of higher education in Senegal and the biggest French-speaking university in West Africa with nearly 90 000 students. The FASTEF is a teaching and research institution responsible for teacher training and has the status of a faculty within UCAD with nearly 900 teacher candidate students. Students from Tübingen will have the opportunity to study at the the campus of the FASTEF and within its departments and institutes for teacher training, such as languages, philosophy, mathematics, physics, chemistry, literature, history, geography, biology, digitalization or educational psychology for teacher training
