Research Interests:

I am a PhD candidate in the Terrestrial Sedimentology Group of the Geoscience Department of Tübingen University. My research interests focus primarily on the fundamental understanding of the physical science behind sediment mobilization risk in arid and semi-arid regions, particularly the role played by climate, tectonics, and anthropogenic activities, and the investigation of genetic links between fluvial and aeolian landforms in Central Asia using a variety of different techniques, including remote sensing, geographic information systems, machine learning, and high precision LiDAR mapping of topography.
