The university network of France and Francophonie Centers in Germany:
Since 28 September 2023, the Center for Francophone Worlds (ZFW) has been a member of the University network of France and Francophonie Centers in Germany, which was founded in 2021.

The network of university centers for French studies and Francophonie in Germany is an association of currently twelve academic centers at the universities of Berlin, Bonn, Bremen/Flensburg/Rostock, Dresden, Freiburg, Leipzig, Mainz, Paderborn, Saarbrücken, Stuttgart, and Tübingen, as well as at TH Mannheim, which are committed to stepping up German-French cooperation in higher education.

Agence Universtaire de la Francophonie:
On 29.04.2025 the Center for Francophone Worlds (ZFW) became a member of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie  AUF
L’AUF – The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie is the world's leading university network, with more than 1,000 universities and scientific research centers in nearly 120 countries.
Created in 1961, the AUF is also the higher education and research organizer for the charter and summit of heads of state and governments of Francophonie countries.

CIVIS - Europe's Civic University Alliance:

The University of Tübingen has joined with ten other European institutions of higher education in the CIVIS – Europe‘s Civic University Alliance. These partners work together to promote student exchanges, develop joint courses, open up opportunities for research, and advance cooperation formats with actors in European civil society. To this end, they are also working closely with strategic partners in Africa. The aim of CIVIS is to address the major societal challenges of the 21st century, to conduct relevant research, and to work responsibly and sustainably with an eye to the future.
