Fourier Microscopy

Phys. Rev. E 77, 061401 (2008)

Fourier Microscopy gives the possibility to analyze the Fourier image of the illuminated object. Fourier images are obtained in the conoscopic mode inserting the Bertrand lens into the light path to image the back focal plane of the objective. Using transparent samples Fourier Microscopy allows to determine the structural and dynamical properties of a colloidal system in full analogy to a light scattering experiment.
