Kung, Hsiao-pei is a first year Ph.D. student in Institute of National Development at National Taiwan University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Ethnology from National Chengchi University and is concerned about the issue of indigenous people in Taiwan. After she investigated the Talum Case(王光祿案), which is a classic case regarding indigenous hunting rights, her research interests turned from studies of cultural traits and indigenous rights to phenomenology of law. She mainly focuses on Husserl’s works and now is still in search of the essence of law in a phenomenological approach.
