Biography

Ms. Chia-Yi Lin (Joyce) is a policy analyst at the Division of National Security Research, Institute for National Defense and Security Research (INDSR), which is a Taiwanese official think tank. Her areas of expertise include industry and supply chain security, international economic and trade security, and anti-money laundering.

In her prior roles, Joyce was an industrial analyst at a British commercial bank in London and as a certified investment analyst at a Taiwanese commercial bank. During that time, she held certifications in foreign exchanges, investments, stock trading, and insurance. She was also a legal specialist in the Ministry of National Defense (R.O.C).

Joyce holds a master’s degree in Intellectual Property from the National ChengchiUniversity (NCCU) and a bachelor’s degree in Law, with a minor in Economics, at the National Taiwan University (NTU). She is currently working on a Ph.D. at the Graduate Institute of National Development at the National Taiwan University.
