Established as TüCAS (Tübingen Center for Advanced Studies), the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Center is dedicated to interdisciplinary foundational research and offers postdocs a platform for reflection on science.

Based on the idea of a TüCAS, we provide a platform for reflections and guidance on questions of responsible science concerning ongoing societal challenges.

We bring together researchers from all scientific areas to stimulate powerful dialogues across disciplines.

Abstraction, Structures and Proofs

The series of events will explore connections between abstractionism, structuralism, and the proof-theoretic tradition, thereby shedding a new light on the possible intersection of these approaches, with focus on their methodological comparison.
