Our target audience usually has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the Life Sciences without Computer Science content. Typically, these are degrees from subjects like Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine or similar. Students who attend this course will acquire selected and basic computer skills which will make their jump in at the deep end a bit easier during the first few weeks.
This course does not provide basic knowledge in computer administration and it is no substitute for a programming course. It is intended for students without prior knowledge of Linux or similar operating systems. In addition, this course is an excellent opportunity to socialize with some of your new fellow students.
