Thomas Piecha is a philosopher, physicist and computer scientist. His research interests include proof-theoretic and dialogical approaches in logic, the logical writings of Karl Popper, and the logical and physical foundations of computer science. He is also the managing director of the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Center.

Antje studied philosophy, mathematics, and English linguistics in Tübingen and obtained her PhD from Utrecht University. Before returning to Tübingen, she held postdoc positions in Konstanz, Stockholm, and Aarhus. Her research is located at the intersection of philosophy, logic, and linguistics. It focuses on modal and temporal logic, especially branching time logics, and deals with themes like the open future, real possibilities, indeterminism, agency, and change.

Dr. Antonio Piccolomini d'Aragona is DFG Researcher at the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Center, with a project on a Kuhnian-Lakatosian interpretation of the opposition between realism and constructivism in logic and the foundations of mathematics. He is also adjunct professor at the University of Siena (Dept. of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences).

Marcel Ertel studied philosophy and history of science at Utrecht University, with a focus on mathematical logic, foundations of mathematics, general philosophy of science, the history of the exact sciences, and modern and contemporary philosophy (Kant, Frege, analytic philosophy, philosophy of mind). His doctoral research at the CFvW center deals with Paul Bernays' philosophy of mathematics and the foundations of mathematics. His research interests also include the relationship of proof theory and set theory, and the history of mathematics and logic.

Sheena Fee Bartscherer studied Social Sciences (B.A.) at the University of Osnabrück and completed her M.A. in Social Sciences at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. Together with Lauren Cubellis, she is currently working on the project "Negotiating evidence in exceptional times: The malleability of evidence in academic and public discourses regarding Covid-19 vaccinations".

Lauren Cubellis ist derzeit Volkswagen Postdoctoral Fellow an der Universität Tübingen und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Robert K. Merton-Zentrum für Wissenschaftsforschung der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Sie promovierte in Anthropologie (Washington University in St. Louis) und machte ihren Master in Public Health (Columbia University). Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf Fragen von Risiko, Krise und Versorgung in der psychiatrischen Praxis.

Guus Eelink is a philosopher, who specializes in ancient Greek philosophy. His research interests are in epistemology, the philosophy of language, logic, and metaphysics. His current research and teaching focus on Plato’s Euthydemus, Republic, Theaetetus and Sophist and on Aristotle’s Posterior Analytics, Sophistical Refutations, and Metaphysics – especially the themes of truth, falsehood, knowledge, and belief.
