Leonie Weber is studying microbiology and infection biology for her Master of Science degree. She previously graduated with honors in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. She is particularly interested in the microbiome, ethical issues surrounding research methodology and alternative medical methods, and science communication. Leonie has been working at IZEW since November 2025 as a research assistant in the field of science communication and PR.
