Based on the current state of research, we carry out practice-oriented research on competence development in schools and universities at the interface of economics, economic education, educational sciences and other disciplines. Our goal: We support learners to cope better with varying (economic) demands. Therefore, our publications and learning material are made available to teachers and other interested parties.
Our research work deals with
- the competence development of pupils and students, e.g. in terms of their ability to reflect, their entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy or their (media-based) self-efficacy
- the development of teaching materials, e.g. in support of the vocational and study orientation at secondary schools
- the evaluation of teaching concepts, e.g. for reading and interpreting diagrams
