Loan

The Library Schloss Nord (BBSN) is a reference library for students, scientists and other interested parties. The library has extensive holdings on Egyptology, Ancient Near Eastern Philology, Near Eastern Archaeology and Classical Archaeology. A brief overnight or weekend loan is only possible by arrangement with library staff.

If no references are listed for the BBSN, it is useful to search the holdings of the University Library. University Library holdings can be borrowed for up to 11 months.

If the literature you are looking for cannot be found at the university, you can borrow it via interlibrary loan. The loan period is set by the lending library and is generally four weeks.

The international delivery service Subito offers the option of ordering articles and books directly from a library. The advantage lies in the processing time, which is a maximum of 72 hours (normal service) plus dispatch, and only 24 hours for express service.
