Thilo Hagendorff at "AI in Conversation" on January 26

The "KI-Makerspace" hosts various events every Thursday around lesser-known ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence applications. On January 26, cluster member Thilo Hagendorff and Sarrah Kassem will be guests in the series "AI in Conversation".

In this conversation, the two discuss the topic "What is digital capitalism and what is it doing to us?" Thilo Hagendorff is an associate member of our Cluster of Excellence. Sarrah Kassem is a research associate at the Department of Politics and Economics/Political Economy at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Tübingen.

The basic idea of the series "AI in Conversation" is to bring an AI researcher into a moderated exchange with a researcher from the humanities or social sciences and to take up as many questions as possible from the students present from a wide range of disciplines in a relaxed atmosphere.

The KI-Makerspace offers a hands-on teaching of basic skills and technology basics for children, students and young adults, which provide access to the topic of artificial intelligence as entry-level technologies. It also aims to provide a spatial networking point to exchange and develop ideas, discussions and thoughts on the topic of Artificial Intelligence, digitalization and the future.
