Within the framework of our "Innovation Fund", Cluster members can apply for competitive and intramural funding to start innovative, high-stakes projects that thematically fit in the Cluster's scope. Currently, we are funding Individual Projects, with one PhD student or postdoc each, or Network Projects that work on an overarching research question in multiple subprojects.
In the "Innovation Fund", we currently also support Research Fellows who are independent postdocs working on new projects at the interface between machine learning and other scientific disciplines.
