PhD Titel:Ancient and Modern Profile of Cilician Clays in the Light of Archaeometric studies: Bronze and Iron Age Pottery from Sirkeli Höyük (Cilicia, southern Anatolia)
My research focus on inorganic archaeological remains, with a particular emphasis on ancient ceramics.
I apply a multi-analytical approach, integrating petrography, geochemistry, mineralogy, and sedimentology, to delve into ceramic provenance studies, examining trade networks, the transfer of technological knowledge, and cultural practices.
Material characterization, ceramic petrography, LA-Inductively Couple Plasma Mass Spectroscopy, WD-X-ray fluorescence, X-Ray diffraction, Scanning electron microscopy, Geo-informatic (GIS).
