Institute of Modern History

Student Assistants and Tutors of the Institute of Modern History

Dear fellow students,

Sometimes you might find it easier to approach more experienced fellow students with your questions and problems rather than sign up for a professor’s office hours. We are the student assistants and tutors working for the following departments: History of the 19th Century (Frie/Jansen), Early Modern History (Dürr), Early Modern Global History (Brauner) and Modern Regional History (Menning) at the Institute of Modern History. We are happy to provide friendly advice and will do our best to help you with your general concerns. You can find us in Room 208 in the Hegelbau or give us a call at 07071 / 29-76093.

Someone is in the office from 9am to 1pm each day, and usually from 2pm to 4pm in the afternoons. Just drop by and we will do our best to help you. You can also send an e-mail to Hiwis Frühe Neuzeit.

During the semester, one of us is almost always in the office in the mornings - just knock or send an e-mail to "Hiwis Frie".
